An exciting opportunity to join a prestigious asset manager in the global investment risk team.As part of a small team, this role will provide day-to-day risk management support for the Portfolio Managers, covering global equities, fixed income and multi-asset strategies.Key Responsibilities:Provide portfolio analysis to ensure that Portfolio Managers understand the different risks in the marketParticipate in monthly risk management meetings with Portfolio ManagersProcess and understand risk predictions made by risk modelsProvide independent oversight and challenge investment teams on processes and controlsPerform quantitative and qualitative analysis to help identify and resolute key investment risk issuesCandidate Profile:Minimum 7 years relevant experience in an investment risk function in an asset management environmentStrong understanding of methods used in managing portfolio risk, as well as other types of portfolio analysisExcellent analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate and influence senior stakeholdersAbility to work in a collegiate and collaborative environment
