Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our family run business in Swindon who are actively looking to recruit a customer focused Service Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
 
What you will be doing:

• Ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the Service department.
• Maximise departmental performance in line with market potentials through the sale of labour, parts and materials.
• Deal with customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs in an efficient and courteous manner to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Maximise customer satisfaction through the correct application of the manufacturer''s warranty and goodwill procedures.
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience.
• Ensure that both Internal and manufacturers KPI''s are achieved.

What you will need to succeed:

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and service procedures.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of service department metrics and reporting.
• Understand budget and accounts.
• Previous management experience working with team.
