Abatec is seeking a Project Manager to join their client, a regional civil engineering contractor on a freelance basis in Devon.

Our client has built its reputation on delivering large, multi-million-pound groundworks projects and requires a Project Manager with experience working on civil engineering and construction sites in a similar position.

As Project Manager-you will:

• Report into the Contracts Manager, giving updates on programme, budgetary and design issues etc.
• Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.
• Liaise regularly with the client on any concerns at regular project meetings.
• Prepare, check and implement designs on site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specification.

Our client requires a Project Manager with:

• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
• A history of managing groundworks and earthworks projects.
• A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

Salary/Benefits:

• -375 - -425 CIS
