We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Milton Keynes who are looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Manager to take full ownership of their payroll function.

This is a standalone role responsible for managing end-to-end monthly payroll for approximately 150 employees. It would suit someone confident working independently who enjoys having responsibility for the full payroll process.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the full end-to-end monthly payroll for approximately 150 employees
• Processing payroll accurately and on time using oneadvanced payroll system
• Ensuring payroll compliance with current legislation
• Managing statutory payments, deductions and reporting requirements
• Handling payroll queries and resolving any discrepancies
• Liaising with internal stakeholders across the business as required
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and supporting audits where necessary

About You

• Proven experience managing payroll end-to-end
• Comfortable working in a standalone payroll role
• Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• Experience using payroll systems confidently and efficiently
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to manage workload independently and meet deadlines

Additional Information

• Flexible working hours across a 37.5-hour working week
• Salary around £50,000–£55,000 (flexible depending on experience)
