Payroll Manager
We are working with a Warwick based organistion who are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established finance team and take ownership of a large, complex payroll function within a supportive environment.
Reporting to the Foundation Director of Finance, you will lead the payroll function and manage a small team, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a small payroll team
- Overseeing payroll for circa 1,000 employees
- Managing payroll processes including pensions and benefits administration
- Handling pension remittance, auto-enrolment and compliance requirements
- Preparing and submitting monthly and annual returns
- Managing year-end payroll processes
- Supporting system upgrades and improvements
- Ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance and continuous process improvement
Essential experience:
- Solid payroll management experience
- Experience managing pensions within payroll
- Ability to lead and support a small team
Desirable:
- Knowledge of iTrent payroll system
