You will be responsible for responding to breakdowns, performing planned maintenance, and supporting improvements to production facilities and new installations.This role is critical in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and maintaining the safety and efficiency of plant, personnel, and production processes. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults, including robot and welding cells, presses, plastic injection, plastic extrusion, and rolling mills. Undertake planned preventative maintenance and record any adverse trends or symptoms. Fit new parts, overhaul equipment, and ensure machinery operates to the highest standards. Perform regular inspections, oiling, cleaning, and scheduled maintenance of machinery. Provide technical support and advice to the engineering and production teams. Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and specialist equipment safely and correctly. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work areas remain clean, tidy, and safe.
