Morson are working with the leading defence manufacturer who are looking for a Lead Quality Engineer to join the quality team at their site in Barrow in FurnessCore duties Work as a fully contributory member of the Quality team and support the development of others within specialist areaResponsible for demonstrating SHE and responsible business behavioursUndertake specialist non-routine and or complex Quality Assurance activities and tasks in their related areaManage own developmentAble to access, have a clear understanding of and develop the local Management System documentation e.g. policies, procedures, workmanship standards, risk assessments and processes in their related areaEnsure cross functional processes are deployed and adhered toLead/support internal audits and supplier auditsLead the management of non-conformance resolution and corrective actions with key stakeholders and process ownersLead/support Quality investigationsLead effective analysis of data with resulting themes and corrective actions resulting in cross functional continuous improvementsLead/support the facilitation of working groups ensuring deliverables are achieved and Learning from Experience (LfE) is captured and appliedDrive and support requirements relating to certification activitiesProcess Owner in assigned area of technical expertiseCapable of leading and driving a detailed programme of workUse of Company computer systems and software as appropriateThe ability to articulate and deliver Quality
