Commercial Broker / DA Underwriter - Leeds. This role is an interesting commercial insurance position that combines broking and underwriting. Our client is a successful and highly regarded insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre.Responsibilities

Deal with exclusively commercial insurance clients, providing broking support to the national team of Account Executives.Assist with new business enquiries, make amendments to existing policies, and market and negotiate renewal terms on the client''s behalf.Utilise delegated authority underwriting facilities to make decisions on risks to a certain level without referring to insurers (training provided).Qualifications and Skills

At least 12 months of insurance experience (preferably broking or underwriting).Well organised with great attention to detail; able to prioritise and communicate effectively with team, clients, and insurance companies.Previous use of Acturis is beneficial but not essential; full system training can be provided.Experience or interest in hybrid working arrangements is welcome.Benefits and Working Arrangements
