Our client, as part of their ongoing expansion within this department, is looking for a Mid-level Lab Technician / Tester. The role will be lab based and will involve performing physics focused lab testing and providing relevant analysis.Core duties of the role will include: -Developing test worksheets to ensure efficient testing on both routine and specialist test areasSupporting more senior Lab Staff in complex or large-scale testing requirementsAccurately reporting test results data on the systemsCommunicating with internal project managers throughout the process - assisting in providing test reports and relevant analysisEnsuring quality standards, health and safety, etcThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following background: -Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area physics, maths, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, etcIdeally 1-2 years+ experience in a similar physics focused lab environment. In an ideal world this would have some experience in a commercial lab environment as well as academicStrong analytical skills, a quality focus and an eye for detailAbility to learn the nuances of their testing operation quicklyThis company offers an excellent career path with structured training and development.
