Head of Finance / Finance Director, Caffeine and Machine

Obsessive about accuracy and detail yet able to connect with the bigger picture, the part-time Head of Finance owns and operates the end-to-end financial cycle. This role enables fellow leaders to deliver for their members and customers. One of these positions will be filled, with the part-time leader role paired with additional bookkeeping support to ensure processing capacity.Key AccountabilitiesINSPIRE PEOPLE HAPPINESSProduce Profit and Loss statements accurately and on timeIdentify financial themes, opportunities, and actionsPartner and develop leaders to shape financial resultsLead and, in time, grow the CandM finance teamCONSISTENT CUSTOMER SATISFACTIONOversee accuracy of payroll and pensionsAnalyse cost base, validating that returns are optimisedRegulate debtor and creditor payments and termsOwn and cultivate third-party financial relationshipsGENERATING SALES GROWTHLead quarterly and annual budget productionMaintain FandB menu and other selling-price simulationsMaintain cashflow forecasts to build liquidityAppraise Capex and other investment projectsOPTIMISE PROFIT RESULTSOversee treasury functionsSet, monitor, and refine loss prevention processesEnsure HMRC compliance with all tax codesLead the annual audit and statutory accounts cycleIdeal ProfileThrives in hospitality and understands the industryExcited by the autonomy of a small, independent businessLives within an easy commute of Banbury, OxfordshireCurious, especially about financial opportunities and solutionsProficient in leveraging technology to automate financial processes and reportsLoves seeing financial plans come to life in customer experiences and on the PandLAvailable to work at least 2 days a week, with flexibility preferredAbout Caffeine and Machine
