We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who needs a Care Assistant. The role offers flexible and initially limited hours, around 2 to 4 per week, with the possibility of increasing as support needs grow.The hourly rate is between £15 and £20, depending on the level of support provided, with travel time to the home potentially being covered. The position involves providing simple support such as light housekeeping, odd jobs, occasional driving and other small tasks that the service user, who has a muscle wasting condition and uses a wheelchair, is no longer able to do.Tasks may include things like changing a light bulb, planting bulbs, putting clothes away on a high shelf or general household support.Skills and Qualifications

The successful applicant must be able to drive, as the home is in a rural location, and may at times be asked to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
