OverviewAs a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.

Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.

Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.

Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.

Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.

Assisting with personal care as required.

Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.

Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development.

At Bryn Irfon we provide residential support for 8 adults with Learning Disabilities, challenging needs and individuals with communication difficulties. We can also support people who may have Mental Health needs. We work with people with varied abilities and needs. We encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves. We enable people to gain confidence and do the things that are important to them and ultimately to lead happy and fulfilled lives.
