Global Investment Bank - Application Support Analyst - Equity TechnologyA global investment bank is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join its Equity Technology team in London. You’ll be supporting a complex front-to-back trading application used by Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations teams to calculate PNL, manage risk, and reconcile positions. This is a dynamic, high-pressure environment where ownership, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence are essential.Responsibilities:Ensure high system availability and rapid resolution of technical issues.Provide support across Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations functions.Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Act as a bridge between Business and Technology teams.Manage infrastructure and communicate outages and updates to stakeholders.Collaborate with developers and vendors to improve platform performance.Skills Required:Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, PERL, Shell).Solid understanding of Linux and SQL/database concepts.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.Nice to Have:Experience with trading platforms such as Sophis, Calypso, or Murex.Familiarity with messaging systems (Solace, Tibco EMS, MQ).Knowledge of build and deployment management.Background in 24x7 support environments.Seniority level
