Head of Engineering Technology and Design . This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief Executive. You will lead a talented team of Chief Engineers, Principal Engineers, Specialist, Design and Electronics Engineers, driving innovation and excellence across all engineering and design functions.Key Responsibilities:Act as the company’s Design Authority and primary customer interface for Engineering Technology and Design.Own the full Engineering Design process from concept to production release.Drive the creation of innovative Intellectual Property and technological differentiation.Shape and implement the company’s Engineering Technology strategy.Enhance technical innovation processes and customer collaboration.Develop Systems Engineering capabilities aligned with market needsThe personReliance Precision are looking for an ''engineer''s engineer'' - confident in your own abilities and able to think ''well outside the box''; someone who can lead and develop the team, support and drive the implementation of the strategy.Essential Experience and Qualifications:Proven leadership in complex environments.Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering (preferred).Strong track record of delivering innovative technical solutions.Skills and Attributes:Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.Clear communicator with excellent organisational skills.Results-driven and action-oriented.Data-led decision maker with a passion for continuous improvement.Willing to challenge conventional thinking and drive change.Committed to safety, quality, and environmental standards.Aligned with core principles: Do right by people.
