OverviewThis is a substantive full time (10 PA) post. The post holder will work as a member of a team of Consultant Plastic Surgeons, based at the University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust with opportunities to have commitments in Solihull Hospital.

Responsibilities

Outpatient clinic sessions

Specialist Skin oncology MDT meeting and Joint Skin Oncology Clinics (JSOC)

Theatre sessions to independently perform primary and metastatic Head and Neck skin cancers including Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy, Comprehensive neck dissections and different types of reconstruction including microsurgical reconstruction.

Support with Lateral skull base reconstructions

Support with Facial Palsy Clinic

The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinary team with the highest standards of clinical care. They will act as part of the wider plastic surgery team as well as part of the sub-speciality multidisciplinary teams.
