Wireless Logic Group is seeking a dynamic Managing Director/General Manager overseeing offices in France (Montpellier and Nice) to conquer the French market. As Managing Director/General Manager you will be the architect of our success, empowering a talented team and forging strategic partnerships to dominate the French IoT landscape and unlock opportunities across our three brands in France (Wireless Logic, Matooma and IoThink).Your Daily Quest
Strategic Leadership: Develops and implements the company\''s long-term strategic vision, focusing on sustainable growth, market leadership, and maximizing shareholder value. Identifies and evaluates market opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging technologies.Commercial Growth: Develops and executes strategies to drive commercial success, including revenue growth, market share expansion, and margin improvement. Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to increase sales, improve pricing strategies, and optimize cost structures.Operational Management: Oversees all aspects of the company\''s operations, including sales, marketing, product development, finance, human resources, and customer support. Drives operational efficiency, optimizes processes, and ensures the company meets its performance targets.Financial Performance: Manages budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and PandL management. Ensures the company achieves its revenue and profitability goals. Works closely with the board to provide regular updates on financial performance and strategic initiatives.Team Leadership and Development: Leads, manages, and develops a high-performing team of approximately 50-60 employees. Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, promotes employee engagement, and supports professional development.Stakeholder Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including PE investors, customers, partners, suppliers, and employees. Represents the company in industry forums and public events.Market Analysis and Expansion: Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies for market expansion. Oversees the company\''s sales and marketing efforts to achieve market share growth.Product Strategy and Innovation: Collaborates with the product development team to define the company\''s product strategy and drive innovation. Ensures the company\''s product offerings remain competitive and meet customer needs.Compliance and Governance: Ensures the company operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Establishes and maintains strong corporate governance practices.Board Reporting: Provides regular reports to the Board of Directors on the company\''s performance, strategic initiatives, and key challenges.The Secret Sauce
Strategic and Commercial Leadership: Proven experience in a country/regional leadership role with ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive double-digit growth, and maintain strong margins, with deep understanding of the IoT telecom market and competitive landscape.Customer and Innovation Focus: Customer-centric mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive innovation and foster continuous improvement.Financial and Analytical Acumen: Strong financial planning, forecasting, and analysis skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Experience in generating and managing a multi-million PandL.Global Team Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with diverse, globally distributed teams, with proficiency in French and English, and experience in a global matrix organization.Market Expertise and Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of the local IoT telecom market, including TAM/SAM analysis, competitor analysis, and regulatory requirements related to connectivity, data security, and compliance.Sales and Partnership Development: Extensive sales cycle experience, with ability to build and manage strategic partnerships and understand local operator policies and market dynamics.Digital and Technological Fluency: Proven ability to leverage the latest technologies to optimize business operations and drive digital transformation.What Will Make You Shine At Wireless Logic
