We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity for electrician in a social housing division in the Croydon area. You will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services in both occupied and void properties. You will ensure that all electrical work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, contributing to the safety of the residents.

Responsibilities-

• Carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance on domestic properties both tenanted and voided.
• This will including servicing tenanted properties for current owners and refurbishing voided properties for new owners.
• Diagnosing and repairing or installing new light fixtures, ventilation fans, and switches/socket outlets.
• Conducting fault finding and remedial work to ensure all electrical systems are safe and functional.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition) and health & safety standards.
• Perform PAT testing and work with electrical systems in occupied and void properties.

Skills required

• Valid gold card ECS 18th edition
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation-(e.g., City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably within social housing or property maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Work in a team or independently, with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively.

Please be aware the hourly pay rate for this role is--22.52 Ltd-(PAYE equivalent -19.32inclusive of holiday).
