We are seeking dedicated and experienced Children''s Support Workers to join our team for temporary ad hoc shifts across a variety of children''s home placements. The role involves supporting vulnerable young people in a residential setting.Job DescriptionPosition: Children''s Support Worker - Ad Hoc ShiftsLocation: Brecon and various other locationsType: Temporary, Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Provide support and care for vulnerable young people.Assist with daily routines, activities, and personal care.Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children.Implement care plans and follow safeguarding procedures.Build positive relationships with young people and promote their well-being.Document observations and report any concerns or incidents.Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with other professionals.Shift patterns vary, from afternoons, mornings - both can be rolled up into long days if available. RequirementsDriving Licence: Must hold a valid UK driving licence.Business Insurance: Must have business insurance added to vehicle policy.Enhanced DBS: Must possess an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.Restraint Training: Must be restraint trained or wiling to undertake a course provided by Randstad.Social Care Wales Registration: Must be registered with Social Care Wales.Residential Experience: Essential residential experience supporting vulnerable young people.Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different placements.Strong communication and i
