CNC Milling Machine Operator

Pertemps Wolverhampton is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing engineering and manufacturing client based in Wolverhampton. We are searching for an experienced CNC Milling Machine Operative with a strong background in precision machining.

 
Key Responsibilities: 

•  Setting and operating CNC milling machines (e.g. Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, Hurco, Heidenhain)
  
  

•  Machining metal components to specification using milling equipment
  
  

•  Reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings
  
  

•  Using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges) for quality inspection
  
  

•  Maintaining accuracy, tolerances, and production targets
  
  

•  Following health & safety and manufacturing procedures
  
  

 

 
Essential Experience & Skills: 

•  Proven CNC milling experience (manual and/or CNC)
  
  

•  Ability to work from engineering drawings and job specifications
  
  

•  Background in precision engineering, metal manufacturing, or machining
  
  

•  Experience with materials such as mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel, etc.
  
  

•  Understanding of tooling, offsets, feeds/speeds, and machine setups
  
  

 

 
 Hours & Pay: 

•  Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
  
  

•  £13.00 per hour (temp to perm)
  
  

•  Immediate start available
