Lighting controls is one of the fastest growing areas within modern smart buildings.

A growing technology business is looking to appoint a Lighting Controls Sales Manager to drive new business across the UK within the lighting controls and smart building sector.

This role focuses on developing relationships with consultants, contractors and integrators while supporting projects from early specification through to delivery.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing new opportunities and growing relationships across the lighting controls market.

Typical responsibilities include:

* Identifying and developing new business opportunities
* Managing and growing key client relationships
* Engaging with consultants, contractors and integrators during project specification
* Supporting projects from early design stages through to delivery
* Working closely with internal technical teams to develop solutions
* Representing the business within the smart building and lighting sector

You will work with clients including consultants, developers, contractors and technology integrators.

About You

You will likely come from a lighting controls, building technology or smart building background.

You may currently work for a manufacturer, distributor or specialist integrator.

We would expect to see:

* Experience selling lighting controls or smart building technology
* Strong industry relationships across consultants, contractors or integrators
* Good understanding of specification led sales
* Technical awareness of lighting control systems such as DALI, KNX, Lutron or similar
* Strong commercial and relationship building skills

Package

• -50,000 to -70,000 basic salary depending on experience
