Product Quality Analyst II
to ensure that every product we release exceeds expectations, delivers frictionless user experiences, and sets new benchmarks for quality.Role highlights
Role purpose and impact: You will be guardian of product quality, running real-world, end-to-end tests that guarantee seamless integrations, superior user experiences, and rock-solid performance. You will work across hardware, software, and automation systems to deliver flawless user experience and meet real-world performance expectations.Your responsibilities
50% – End-to-End Product Testing: Build, maintain, and execute comprehensive real-world tests; ensure coverage across current functionality and new product developments.10% – Test Reporting and Insights: Analyze test results and communicate data-driven recommendations; identify patterns and risks.15% – Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization: Define and refine testing methodologies; streamline QA processes; introduce automated workflows.15% – Tooling and Automation for Quality Excellence: Design internal tooling to improve QA, accelerate test cycles; integrate automation frameworks.10% – Hardware and Lab Workcell Maintenance: Define and maintain physical test workcells; ensure hardware availability and performance in Automata’s QA ecosystem.What we’re looking for
Deep expertise in life sciences instrumentation and automation; understanding labs and expectations from automation hardware and software.Experience in QA within software and hardware environments; ability to design and execute effective tests.Keen eye for UX and Design principles; test usability, accessibility, and seamless interactions.Structured, analytical mindset with data-driven problem-solving.Bonus points
Software development experience or understandingExperience with TestRail or similar test management toolsPassion for automated testing frameworks in life sciences automationWhy Automata?
