Summary of RoleThe role involves supporting the delivery and growth of the British Plastics Federation''s (BPF) events programme, including commercial and non-commercial events, webinars, parliamentary receptions, and other related activities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist management in planning and delivering online and physical events such as BPF Energy events, the Annual Dinner, webinars, and receptions.Support in organising specific events like Meet the Toolmaker, Meet the Recycler, and the rotational moulders'' event, along with ad hoc projects including international trips and outsourcing opportunities.Help identify and secure speakers, grow sponsorship and income streams, and meet income targets.Contribute to marketing efforts for events, including drafting press releases, managing social media, and creating marketing materials and email campaigns.Maintain and update event webpages and digital registration platforms to enhance user experience.Assist in managing event budgets and marketing the meeting room facilities at BPF House.Support the archiving and continual improvement of seminar and webinar content.Gather feedback from events to inform future improvements.Help organise face-to-face events outside BPF premises, including travel arrangements.Generate ideas for new events and innovate existing ones to ensure ongoing success.Impact and BenefitsThis role contributes to the UK economy and environment by supporting initiatives that improve recycling legislation, supply PPE during Covid, and promote sustainability.
