Diagnostic Project Manager

The Diagnostic Project Manager is responsible for managing key work streams within the work programme, such as Workforce, Performance Improvement, Digital Integration, Procurement, and the Clinical Operating Model. The role involves providing project leadership, coordination, and support to the Diagnostic Collaborative.The post-holder will lead specific transformation and service development projects, driving continuous improvement and the delivery of Diagnostic priorities. Close collaboration with clinical, operational, and managerial colleagues within LandSC acute trusts, work stream groups, programme boards, interdependent programme leads (e.g., Cancer Alliance), NW Regional Diagnostics Team, wider NW partners, patients, and the public is essential.Requirements include in-depth knowledge of Project Management principles (e.g., Prince2 or MSP qualification desirable) and ideally a qualification in quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Model for Improvement). Experience working with clinical and non-clinical teams to drive transformation or improvement is necessary. The post-holder will provide expertise, advice, education, and support to ensure effective project and service delivery for the benefit of patients and staff.Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Degree level education or equivalent experiencePRINCE2, MSP or equivalent project/programme management experienceLean management or equivalent improvement qualification/experienceDesirable Criteria:
Management qualificationECDL certificationVital Signs trainingExperience leading change in complex organizations (health and/or social care)Experience facilitating change using project management principlesAbility to produce formal reports and presentations for senior audiencesExperience formulating new plans, strategies, and policiesAdditional Skills and Experience:
