Position: Senior Estimator

Salary: -80,000 - 90,000 + Car / Car allowance + Pension + Health

My client has an excellent reputation within the industry and is now seeking a Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team. The organisation is a main building contractor with a solid presence in London and the South East who have a reputation in delivering high quality construction schemes ranging from -15M to -200M in value across both new build and refurbishment markets. The company carry out work across all sectors; however their reputation is strong in the sectors of Commercial, Mixed-use, Leisure & Residential builds.

Duties for the role:

• Production of accurate prime costs for the projects
• Co-ordinate the tender process
• Develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers etc
• Identify areas of risk and opportunity
• Develop relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Develop knowledge of market place and competitors

Candidate Profile:

• Build background, ideally with commercial experience
• Use of Conquest estimating software would be beneficial
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Able to maintain a high level of work quality against cost restraints
• Proven track record on all forms of procurement
• Experience on both JCT D&B & NEC forms of contract
