About the Role
The client is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing project specifications, and supporting the tendering process to ensure competitive and commercially viable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identifying project risks and opportunities during the tender stage
• Supporting the preparation of bills of quantities and cost plans
• Working closely with pre-construction and commercial teams to develop competitive bids

About the Requirements

• Proven experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Experience preparing tenders for residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management.
