We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Housing Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality neighbourhood-based housing management services for a site. This role involves managing day-to-day housing operations, building strong relationships with residents, and coordinating with a range of council services to ensure the site is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with legal and licensing requirements. You’ll be the first point of contact for residents, providing guidance on tenancy matters, estate improvements, repairs, and wider council services. You will also play a key role in addressing anti-social behaviour, safeguarding vulnerable residents, ensuring health and safety standards, and contributing to community development and engagement. We’re looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a good understanding of housing and site management, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, residents, and external partners.Key responsibilities
Managing licences, resident engagement, and estate inspectionsCoordinating repairs, maintenance, and cleaning contractsAddressing anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concernsSupporting community consultation and representing the Council at forumsEnsuring compliance with Council policies and legal requirementsWhat the client is looking for
GCSE Maths and EnglishProven experience working with or alongside local government or large, multi-functional organisations across public, private, or voluntary sectorsStrong understanding of the political, housing, social, and welfare challenges facing the Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller communitiesSolid knowledge of housing legislation and landlord responsibilities, including statutory and best practice requirementsExperience of working in housing and delivering services to residents of social housing landlordsTrack record of managing anti-social behaviour cases and addressing estate-wide ASB on behalf of social housing landlordsDemonstrable experience of supporting residents to sustain their tenancyExperience working collaboratively with support services (e.g. social services, mental health teams), with a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities for landlords and partnersCommitted to delivering excellent customer service through a collaborative and coordinated approachHow to Apply
