Atlantis Tanks Group Ltd manufacture and supply oil and water storage tanks throughout the UK. We recently celebrated 20 years in business.We are a fast growing company with 3 depots throughout the UK. We manufacture steel tanks at our Mildenhall depot in Suffolk. We are looking for an experienced welder for our existing Steel Team of welders and engineers.Your Welding Duties:

Perform various welding techniques, including MIG weldingWork predominantly with 2mm mild steel but other types and thicknesses tooMake steel storage tanks ranging from 500 litres up to 80,000 litresSet up and operate welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient mannerInspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specificationsAdhere to all safety regulations and company policies while workingPerform grinding, cutting and other metal fabrication tasks as neededRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to accurately complete welding projects.Our Requirements:

Proven experience as a welder in an industrial or manufacturing settingProficiency in various welding techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong knowledge of welding safety practices and proceduresExcellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanshipPhysical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objectsWe offer a family cultured environment with 21 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, birthday off, 1 extra day of holiday with every year of service, and occasional staff event days.
