CHEMISTRY GRADUATE, SITE CHEMIST OR EXPERIENCED HAZARDOUS WASTE TECHNICAL ASSESSOR REQUIRED TO JOIN A BUSY TEAM

TITLE: Technical Assessor / Chemistry Graduate – Hazardous Waste

SALARY: Graduate 25-27K, Experienced Technical Assessor up to £30-35K DOE

LOCATION: North Birmingham / Bloxwich Area

PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Technical Assessor, Site Chemist, TFS Supervisor Reception Chemist, Technical Coordinator, Transfer Station Chemist, TFS Coordinator, Senior Technical Assessor

ROLE: Technical Assessor / Chemistry Graduate – Hazardous Waste

• Classify waste streams accurately using WM3 
• Data management & report writing
• Determine most efficient and cost-effective treatment or disposal routes
• Pricing and quoting
• Travel to clients’ sites may be required on occasion

EXPEIRENCE: Technical Assessor / Chemistry Graduate – Hazardous Waste

• You will have a Degree in Chemistry, other science degrees will be considered provided the modules list on it contains the word Chemistry 4 times or more, e.g. Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Applied Chemistry etc. If this is not present, you cannot be considered.
• You will have a UK Driving Licence
• Ideally you will have experience of classifying waste by WM3
