RandD Senior Laboratory TechnicianThis is a 12-month contract position located in Witney, OX29 0YL, with a salary of 29,505 per annum. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.Role SummaryThe RandD Senior Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting critical processes and product testing within the RandD Sensor Laboratories. This role involves ensuring that all equipment is maintained and calibrated, and that the lab remains in an audit-ready state.A key part of the position is supporting RandD projects by assisting scientists and engineers with product development, including the scheduling and testing of experimental sensor lots. The role requires a high degree of adaptability to new and complex test techniques due to a constantly evolving product pipeline.Key ResponsibilitiesConducting prototype testing and product builds.Maintaining equipment and materials, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for lab processes.Creating and updating area procedures and other associated documentation.Assisting RandD project teams and scientists with product development activities.Providing detailed project feedback to the RandD Sensor Area Lead.Supporting continuous development of new sensor products.Supervising the laboratories in the absence of area leads.Supporting Quality, Compliance, and EHS initiatives.
