This role requires an inspirational leader with commercial ability to drive and develop the business, including nurturing a growing membership base and team.Responsibilities

Ensure all policies and procedures in the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standard and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks.Report and chase defects to ensure the building and equipment are safe to use.Recruit and manage a team of employed Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to ensure club operations meet daily expectations.Hold regular team meetings to aid development and keep staff updated.Work towards and aim to achieve all sales and membership targets; drive and maximise secondary spending revenue.Ensure the gym facility is the highest standard of cleanliness and that cleaners perform to the required standard.Manage the weekly banking process to minimise wastage and variance and maximise profit.Ensure uniform standards across all team members and yourself; deliver outstanding member service; foster a positive work environment; and act as an ambassador of JD Gyms.Skills and Experience

Proven and successful track record of management experience within a leisure-related industry.Passionate about customer service and an inspirational leader in management.Qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor.Proven track record in driving sales and coordinating local marketing activity, as well as recruiting and managing a successful team.Experience as a General Manager or Fitness Manager within a leisure facility is preferred.Benefits include staff discounts on JD Group and other brands, plus personal development opportunities.Job Details
