Domain Advisor Senior Specialist - Cloud Architecture and Advisory (CAA). We help the world run better. SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) supports customers throughout their cloud transformation and RISE with SAP journey to adopt SAP Business Suite. We run the Intelligent Enterprise so they can be an Intelligent Enterprise. Our portfolio includes SAP Cloud ERP Private and SAP Cloud Application Services, turning SAP products into a solution-as-a-service on the customer’s preferred infrastructure, including hyperscalers.This role is part of the ECS Cloud Architecture and Advisory team in EMEA. You will be a primary point of contact for all technical topics from the customer perspective and work closely with customer facing and delivery teams.What you’ll do

As a Cloud Architect and Advisor (CAA), you will be responsible for the technical foundation of SAP private cloud engagements, including hyperscalers, infrastructure, network, and virtual private cloud deployment. You will present the offering, run workshops, and serve as the primary customer contact for these areas. You will collaborate with sales teams and technical domain experts to address customer questions and hand over infrastructure designs and customer parameters to build teams for deployment of the SAP virtual private cloud.What you bring

5+ years of customer facing experienceHigh proficiency in customer communications and presentationsGood understanding of cloud deployments and technical capabilities of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure or GCP)Understanding of data center capabilities like high availability or disaster recoveryGood understanding of the entire platform stack (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.)Good understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)Experience with implementation and operating SAP solutionsSAP HANA and S/4HANA skills are a benefitFoundations knowledge of cybersecuritySelf-sufficient worker and strong team playerAffinity to technical topics, willingness to tackle aspects outside the comfort zone and to continuously learnFluency in English is a must; other languages are an assetCloud Architecture and Advisory is an integral part of the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) organization. ECS drives and develops the SAP Cloud ERP Private portfolio to cater to our customers’ needs and operates most of the SAP Cloud ERP Private landscapes. The Cloud Architects and Advisors are a group of highly motivated, customer-focused people who validate the technical feasibility of SAP Cloud ERP Private deals during the presales phase to ensure landscapes match customer requirements.About SAP
