ResponsibilitiesAs Director of Finance, you will provide strategic leadership across all financial functions ensuring the trust remains financially resilient while delivering safe and effective care. Your main responsibilities will be to:

Lead Financial planning, budgeting and financial performance management

Ensure compliance with NHS financial governance and reporting standards

Drive efficiency, productivity and value for money across the Trust

Support major transformation programmes and capital investments

Advise the Board and Executive Team on financial strategy and risk

Demonstrate a consistent track record in developing and delivering effective financial strategies

Show evidence of strong personal leadership

Have proven ability to foster a high-performing values-driven culture

Possess extensive experience of successful cross-boundary working that will enhance the Trust\''s reputation and service delivery

Understand the national and political landscape in which the NHS operates, including current and emerging challenges

Have an excellent grasp of the financial and regulatory frameworks across the wider health sector

Bring substantial experience at a senior level in a large organisation
