You will be responsible for ensuring the safe working of all quarry operational activity. You will oversee all operations both on site and in the office, manage staff, coordinate production, and monitor all site systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and technical knowledge to contribute to the ongoing success of operations.Key DutiesHealth and Safety:Ensure the safe operation of all fixed and mobile plant operations in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Quarry Regulations 1999.Ensure a safe system of work is in place for all key tasks and activities.Qualification in Quarry Regulations 1999 and Health and Safety at Work Act enabling a Reg 8.1c appointment, working closely with 8.1d and 8.1d WLR.Maintain high standards of best practice in all relevant areas and promote safe behaviour.Deliver weekly toolbox talks and carry out daily briefings at the start of each shift.Carry out inductions for all site personnel, visitors, and contractors, and maintain records.Report near hits, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and incidents through the company Highviz portal.Carry out regular safety inspections of all workplaces within the quarry and ensure reports are documented.Responsibilities:Combine technic
