Site Manager

TEXO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our external construction client based in Aberdeen. Our client is well-regarded for their expertise in civil engineering, drilling, and utility services. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations across a range of projects, ensuring all work is delivered safely, to a high standard of quality, and completed on time and within budget.Skills, Qualifications and Experience:SMSTS CertificationValid CSCS Card (Black or Gold)Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projectsStrong understanding of construction methods, project planning, and health and safety regulationsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectivelyPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsFull UK driving licenceLegal right to work in the UK without restrictions (please note: sponsorship is not available)A technical qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field is advantageousResponsibilities:Manage all on-site activities and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.Monitor project progress and report to senior management.Interpret drawings and specifications to guide site operations.Oversee site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.Maintain accurate records, including site diaries and progress reports.Conduct risk assessments and produce RAMS as required.Deliver toolbox talks and clear instructions to site teams.Attend and lead site meetings; liaise with clients and stakeholders.Support commercial teams with project measurement and valuations.Identify and resolve on-site issues; manage project risks.Assist in tenders and planning project delivery strategies.Promote a strong safety culture and uphold company standards.Lead, support, and develop site teams; conduct staff appraisals.For more information or to apply, please contact Kenna on 01224 446 789 / 07826989541 or email your CV to kenna.kirkwood@texorecruitment.co.uk.
