Job Title: Electronic TesterLocation: St. NeotsSalary : 13 p/h (Temp to Perm)Hours: 7:30am - 4pm (Monday to Thursday) and 7:30am - 1pm (Friday) JOB PURPOSEPerforms the set-up, calibration and test of; components, assembled printed circuit boards and electro-mech assemblies. Using a variety of standard test equipment and customer provided inline testing solutions. Initially required for volume testing of manufactured items and highlighting failed assemblies that require debug via technician. Completing test reports and processing wip through manufacturing systems. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIESSet up test equipment and test jigs both for in-circuit and full functional testing of PCBAs and complete products.Test PCBAs and complete electronic products following test procedures recording test results as directed.Only pass assemblies that meet the test specification with all readings falling within test limits.Ensure test work is carried out to the production schedule, in order that production deadlines are met.To inform the Production management team if there are problems that may cause delay. Keep management informed of any significant problems with products under testTo investigate and assist with fault finding faulty electronic printed circuit assemblies or complete electronic based with debug technician.To keep records as required of test times and record fault data in a database.Suggest improvements in the testing of items to speed up the test process and achieve production tes
