Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for Gas and Heating Engineers on behalf of a social housing contractor operating over the whole of the North West; Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Preston etc...You will be responsible for carrying out gas servicing, repairs, and breakdown diagnostics within occupied and void social housing properties. This is a field-based role requiring excellent technical knowledge, customer service skills, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair faults on domestic gas central heating systems (boilers, radiators, controls).Carry out routine gas servicing and safety checks in accordance with current regulations.Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and call-outs.Maintain accurate records of work completed using handheld devices or job sheets.Ensure all works comply with Gas Safe, health and safety, and relevant compliance standards.Communicate clearly with tenants, housing officers, and coordinators.Contribute to a positive customer experience and uphold the company''s reputation.

Requirements:Gas Safe RegistrationProven experience in social housing or domestic property maintenance.Strong experience in boiler breakdowns, diagnostics, and servicing.Valid UK driving licence.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours rota (if applicable).
