Senior Director - Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals to drive growth in the rapidly expanding UK life sciences and pharmaceutical sector. Lead, innovate, and grow within one of the Leadership Team’s most strategic sectors in the UK and globally. Build Arcadis Pharmaceutical capability in the UK market with a focus on the Golden Triangle Region. Develop strong client relationships and secure both new and repeat work. Leverage technical expertise and an established network to cultivate relationships, develop tailored solutions, and secure high-value opportunities for Arcadis.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Strategic Growth and Market Expansion: develop and execute a market sector growth plan, driving revenue growth in pharmaceutical/life science service lines within the UK; influence sector marketing and communications; create bespoke strategic plans for pharmaceutical/life clients; collaborate with Global Account Leaders.Business Development and Client Relationships: leverage existing networks to open doors; build and maintain a robust pipeline; act as Account / Client / Business Development Leader for key clients; support EPCMV projects and pipeline in the UK; participate in proposals and client presentations; contribute to value propositions and long-term relationships.Technical Capabilities: manage large-scale pharma projects, with multidisciplinary delivery and in-depth knowledge of relevant disciplines and SMEs; develop project execution strategies.Leadership and Team Collaboration: inspire and lead multi-disciplinary pursuit and delivery teams; foster cross-selling; influence market-facing collateral; mentor and develop internal capabilities.Compliance and Excellence: ensure alignment with revenue delivery, Net Order Intake, Client Experience, and Employee Experience; uphold high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.Qualifications and Experience

Educational Background: Bachelor of Engineering or Master’s degree in a relevant field.Proven Revenue Generation: track record of delivering complex, large-scale life sciences/pharma developments in the UK, including pursuits > £3m.Capital Delivery Experience: 15+ years in the Pharma market, delivering projects > £200m for AandE or EPC in UKandI.Technical Expertise: extensive design and technical experience in pharmaceutical and process engineering.Business Acumen: deep understanding of the UK life sciences/pharmaceutical market with ability to shape growth strategies.Sales Leadership: experience in market-to-opportunity and account management with drive to meet growth targets.Strategic Leadership: ability to lead teams, deliver client-centric solutions, and execute strategic plans at leadership level.Entrepreneurial Mindset: commercially driven, decisive, innovative, results-oriented.Arcadis is committed to equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging and believes that a diverse workforce strengthens our ability to deliver sustainable solutions.
