Main Responsibilities Carry out maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal plant performance. Perform root cause analysis on component failures and implement improvement measures. Respond to and resolve electrical and mechanical breakdowns, including fault-finding. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Plan and execute small-scale engineering projects. Specify and source replacement parts and equipment.What we are looking for: Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, preferably within food manufacturing Clear and confident communication abilities. Ability to work independently and within a team City and Guilds qualified or time-served multi-skilled engineer. Knowledge of PLC systems is advantageous. Fabrication and welding experience is beneficial.
