To carry out Type Training Theoretical and Practical instructional duties for which they are qualifiedTo carry out the duties of the Theoretical Examiner and Practical assessor in line with CAA / EASA Part-66 and Part-147 RegulationsTo compile questions for examination banks for which they are qualifiedTo undertake the duties of the invigilator for Theoretical ExaminationsTo ensure that the Training Department adheres to company Training and Engineering Procedures and operates in an efficient and effective mannerTo carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Training Manager during any prolonged absenceTo ensure the security and validity of all examinations are in accordance with the requirements of CAA / EASA Part-66 and Part-147To ensure all examinations timetables are co-ordinatedTo be willing to travel, both within the UK and Overseas to deliver and receive trainingTo compile Training course materialKnowledge and Skills

Extensive practical experience on the following aircraft and engine typesHelicopters EC135 all Variants, MBB BK117-D2, MBB BK117-C2, SAFRAN Arrius 2B Series Engine, Arriel 2E Engine, PWC PW206 EngineThe experience must be representative of the elements to be taught and gained in Civil aviation environment or acceptable equivalent (maintenance, engineering, design organisation etc.)Experience of CAA and EASA regulations, including CAA CAP1528, CAP1529 and EASA UG.CAO0.00154-002Experience as a Theoretical Examiner and Practical AssessorBe able to meet the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment, abbreviated as CEFR. The minimum level required for such staff is B1 as detailed within CAA CAP1528Be able to design, compile and construct Training course material and presentations for various Training courses (Aircraft Type, Engine, Familiarisation, Differences courses, etc.)Education, Qualifications or Training

Hold a Part-147B1 Type Certificate of Recognition on the following aircraft types and engines: MBB BK117-C2, MBB BK117-D2 (D2 Model and D3 Model), Turbomeca Arriel 2E Engine for MBB-BK117-D, EC135T and EC135P, EC135T3H and EC135P3H, Turbomeca Arrius 2B Engine for EC135T and EC135T3H, PWC PW206 Engine for EC135P and EC135P3HInstructor Certificate delivered by a legal entity recognised by its local authorities and acceptable to the national authority where the instructor will exercise his privilegesDesirableHold a CAA B1.3 licence for the aircraft types on which the instructor will teach.Additional requirements
