This is a crucial role for a skilled engineer with a strong mechanical bias who excels in high-pressure environments where safety and swift resolution are paramount.The ideal candidate must possess comprehensive Building Services knowledge and the flexibility to manage a diverse workload across HVAC, heating, plumbing, and critical water systems, ensuring the continuous operation of clinical services.DutiesExecute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and essential reactive repairs on core HVAC assets, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and extract ventilation systems.Perform crucial tasks such as filter changes, drive belt tensioning, motor lubrication, and cleaning of coils and condensate trays.Plumbing and Water Systems (Compliance Critical):Act as the primary responder for general plumbing breakdowns, resolving leaks, blockages, and repairs to sanitary ware rapidly.Conduct essential water hygiene PPMs (temperature monitoring, flushing) in strict accordance with ACoP L8 guidelines for Legionella control.Service, install, and adjust Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) to ensure patient safety and prevent scalding risks.Perform PPM and reactive repairs on heating plant, including boilers, calorifiers, and heat exchangers.Maintain and service various site pumps (e.g., heating, chilled water, booster), checking for
