Technical areas include but not limited to:Inheritance Tax PlanningCapital Gains Tax PlanningIncome Tax PlanningIncorporations and transferring properties into limited companiesGroup PlanningVAT PlanningTax Planning for landlords and high net worth individualsKey Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the firm''s tax advisory services.- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.- Represent the firm at industry events and maintain a strong network of professional relationships.- Client Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their tax needs are met with the highest level of expertise and service.- Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.- Oversee complex tax compliance and reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.- Technical Expertise:- Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, providing thought leadership and insights to clients and the firm.- Deliver innovative tax solutions that align with clients'' business objectives and mitigate risks.- Handle complex tax matters, including international tax issues, mergers and acquisitions, and tax audits.- Business Development:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving growth and expanding the firm''s client base.- Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance the firm''s visibility and reputation in the market.- Prepare and present proposals for new client engagements, showcasing the firm''s capabilities and expertise.Qualifications and Experience:- Minimum 15-20 years’ experience- CTA qualified or equivalent with extensive post-qualification experience.- Proven track record of success in a senior tax advisory role, ideally within a specialist tax consultancy or a Big Four firm.- Exceptional knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Salary and Benefits:Salary - above marketPerformance-related bonusPrivate medical insurance with a 50% discount on gym membership and a free Apple WatchOptical insuranceSubstantial life insuranceRoute to partnership at the end of three yearsSeniority level
