Teaching Assistant - Stafford - Start Date: September 2026 We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a thriving school within the Stafford area. Your role will predominantly be working under the direct instruction of teaching staff, usually within the classroom alongside the teacher. Your role will be a long - term role working on a temporary basis through a trusted, established supply agency.We are looking for an individual who has a nurturing, proactive attitude and is genuinely passionate about supporting children on a day-to-day basis within the classroom. You must be organised, reliable and hardworking; committed to consistently raising standards by ensuring high expectations are promoted for all pupils.The role includes:Providing support to children and staff on a daily basis across the whole school.To collaborate and work alongside the class teacher; occasionally covering some classes when necessary.Supporting those children in the classroom whom may require more individualised support; liaising with the teacher to create a tailored plan in which how you will support the pupil.Comfortable communicating with staff, parents and external professionals in a professional manner at all times.Comfortable in providing SEND support as required for individual pupils, including those with an EHCP.We are looking for someone who:Can support a whole class across a range of Key Stages.Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.Confidently able to impl
