Accounts Payable Finance Assistant
Sheridan Maine are excited to be working in partnership with a well established organisation based in Central Bath who are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their UK finance team on a three month assignment. This role will support the business through a busy period. 
 
Key duties within the accounts payable position will include but are not limited to:
 
 - Processing multi-currency invoices on to the accounting system.
 - Matching PO numbers to stock invoices, and coding non-stock invoices 
- Proactively seeking invoice approval 
 - Supplier statement reconciliations
 - Preparing multi-currency supplier payments
 - Deal with supplier queries and develop relationships 
 
 
To be considered for the role, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: 
 - Prior experience in a busy accounts payable/ purchase ledger role.
 - Be immediately available to start the assignment 
- Experienced working with and without PO numbers 
- Hold an AAT qualification or be studying towards it
- Ability to work proactively and use own initiative
 - Confident and friendly communication style
 - Someone who enjoys working as part of a team
 - Highly organised and able to meet deadlines
