Head of Sales

Our client based in the Southampton area, a class leader in SaaS solutions for their industry, is recruiting for a Head of Sales to join them on a permanent basis. As Head of Sales, you will lead and execute the commercial strategy for our clients'' flagship SaaS and digital engagement platform.This is a senior leadership role, ideal for a commercially driven sales leader with deep automotive sector knowledge and a proven ability to build high-performing teams and deliver sustained revenue growth.Candidates will be working on a national basis, so location is flexible - the Midlands would be an ideal location to cover the whole of the UK. What You''ll Be Doing:Lead the commercial sales strategy across the UK and international markets.Own revenue growth and forecasting for the SaaS portfolio, aligning sales targets with overall business goals.Build and lead a high-performing sales team, including mentoring, pipeline coaching, and target setting.Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product offerings and market segments.Drive strategic relationships with OEMs, groups, and digital partners, positioning the company as a value-adding solution partner.Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations, and client success teams to deliver a cohesive customer journey.Report regularly to the Board and Executive team on performance, market insight, and emerging opportunities.Represent the company at industry events, thought leadership forums, and partnership me
