The school, based in Benfleet Essex, caters for children and young adults from 5 to 18 years old with varied needs, such as PMLD, Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs.Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will be to support the pupils on a 1:1 basis with their learning development and care needs while at school. Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred but not essential. Experience working within a school-based or care-based environment is critical, as you must have basic knowledge and understanding of supporting children with learning care needs such as personal care.
