Lead Mechanical Operator – £2000 Welcome Bonus at TieTalentSalary: From £40,000 - £48,000 (inclusive of shift allowance) dependant on experience. Welcome bonus: £2,000. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off pattern (2 day, 2 nights, 4 off) 12 hour shifts. Permanent. On-site facilities include a hot food restaurant, on-site gym, private medical insurance and free flu jabs, free on-site parking and an employee shop with monthly allowance. Minimum 1 year''s experience managing and coordinating operatorsSkilled in diagnosing mechanical issues through systematic troubleshooting techniquesProficient in taking apart machinery to understand its components and functionality, and reassembling it correctly to ensure optimal operationA keen eye for detail essential for identifying faults or inefficiencies in machinery and ensuring precision during assembly and disassemblyA commitment to ongoing improvement, involving suggesting modifications to existing machinery or processes to enhance efficiency, safety, or performanceAbility to work effectively in teams, sharing insights and collaborating with others to implement improvements and resolve mechanical issuesKey responsibilities

Take the lead for first line maintenance of several production machines including operational decisions to achieve targetsIdentify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machineryAccountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipmentUse diagnostic tools and methods to identify the root causes of problemsCoordinate a small team of operators and temporary associates to achieve line targetsAssisting operators with daily production tasks to ensure line targets are metWhat can you expect from Mars?
