Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Maintenance Manager
to oversee and coordinate the upkeep of multiple Caprice Holdings sites. Reporting to senior management, this individual will ensure that each venue operates at its best, maintaining high standards of functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a scheduled maintenance plan for all sites, managing reactive repairs to minimize downtime and disruption.Direct and support a team of in-house maintenance technicians and external contractors, ensuring quality control and timely completion of all tasks.Manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenses, and negotiate with suppliers and contractors to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.Ensure all venues comply with relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and promptly addressing any issues.Oversee refurbishment and improvement projects across multiple locations, working closely with relevant stakeholders to meet deadlines and quality standards.Maintain an inventory of equipment and spare parts, ensuring efficient stock control and timely replacements.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and venue managers to streamline communication and ensure a high service level.Keep accurate records of maintenance work, prepare reports on operational efficiency, and suggest improvements to senior management.
Qualifications and ExperienceProven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role, ideally within hospitality, luxury retail, or a multi-site environment.Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and relevant health, safety, and compliance regulations.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee projects effectively.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for guiding teams and collaborating with various stakeholders.A relevant technical qualification (e.g., City and Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent) is highly desirable.Flexible approach to working hours and travel between sites as needed.
