1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Monmouth

Do you have experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)?
Academics are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Monmouth. This role is based within a Learning Resource Base, working 1:1 with a pupil with ALN, helping to support their educational, emotional, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with ALN, helping them access and engage with the curriculum.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring individual learning and support plans.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SEN team to foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate learning resources and materials.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a SEN or ALN support role (essential).
- 1:1 support experience with ALN pupils (desirable).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply - we can help).
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - support provided if needed.
- Two recent, professional references.
