Legal Secretary

The FirmOur client, a leading and esteemed law firm, are seeking a Legal Secretary to join their successful Residential Conveyancing team in their Bromley office. The firm is ranked regionally for their work within Real Estate by both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. The OpportunityThe successful Legal Secretary will provide administrative and secretarial support to Conveyancers within the firm''s Residential Property team. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive and can-do attitude towards work. Duties to include:Handle client queries and provide regular updates throughout the transaction processConduct anti-money laundering checks and verify source of fundsReview mortgage offers and prepare summary reports for clientsTake client instructions and assist in progressing matters to exchange of contractsPrepare files for completion, such as requesting mortgage funds, submitting searches, and drafting completion statementsSupport conveyancers with the residential property transaction processMaintain accurate and up-to-date recordsManage incoming calls and emailsDistribute incoming post and emails, ensuring timely follow-up in the absence of fee earnersUpdate client and contact informationAssist with general client administration and day-to-day operational supportThis Legal Secretary position is a full time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday, 9:00am -5:30pm RequirementsPrevious experience as a Legal Secretary within Residential Conveyancing i
