SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (KS1, ADHD)

Tradewind Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in KS1 with ADHD.

You will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and parents, following the child''s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to ensure consistent support across both learning and behaviour.

• Providing tailored 1:1 support for a KS1 child with ADHD

• Supporting focus, engagement, and learning in class

• Assisting with transitions and routines throughout the school day

• Implementing behaviour support strategies and interventions

• Working collaboratively with staff and parents to monitor progress

• Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive social interactions

• A warm, welcoming, and inclusive primary school in Hackney

• Strong commitment to staff development and training

• Supportive leadership and SEND team

• Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally ADHD, in a UK primary school (essential)

• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

• A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
